Aseptic Filling Machine
The BIB consists of various types of filling machines – semi and fully automatic – for all kinds of applications. The filling machines are designed to (vacuum) fill liquid eggs in Bag-in-Box .
The B200 is a one-head filling machine suitable for filling bags of 2 litres up to about 25 litres with all common closure systems. During filling, the bag lies on a roller conveyor which is adjustable in height. When the bag has been filled and closed, it is led underneath the filling valve towards the rear side of the filling machine, by means of a non-driven conveyor.
Description
Bag-In-Box is a filling system developed especially for liquids of all viscosities. The liquid is filled into a flexible, synthetic bag or liner, which is fitted with a resealable opening. The bags can be used with various types of secondary packaging: cardboard boxes, plastic crates, metal containers, tanks etc.
Bag-in-Box filling machines can fill 1 to 1200 litre bags equipped with virtually all standard closure systems. BIB filling machines are also capable of filling drums, buckets and sterile containers. Depending on the application the choice will be made between a semi or fully automatic filling machine. Thanks to the unique filling valve, it is possible to vacuumize before filling, fill the bag with product and inject steam or an inert gas before closing the bag. This is combined with an advanced PLC control that controls all pressures, temperatures, airflow, etc.,
The machine is equipped with a steam generator with control by PLC and Inert gas injection into the filled bag as well as the bag. The unique dry-sterilisation filling process of the B-200 Aseptic filling machines ensures that ‘sterile’ remains sterile, ‘low-germ count’ remains low-germ count. The excellent mechanical design of the B-200, supported by a very accurate PLC control system, eliminates the need for chemicals, and requires the very minimum use of steam.
